Mortar and pestles have long been used to grind herbs, salts, and incense in preparation for meals, spells, and incense-making or just as decoration.
This brass mortar is made of solid brass painted black with a beautiful carving.
Approximate dimensions:
Mortar: 3.5” tall, 3.5” wide at the top
Pestle: 5” long
So what's wrong with it?
One of these mortars is missing its pestle. The other one has very slight discoloration in the bottom of it but is otherwise in excellent condition.
