Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) is an intensely aromatic tree native to South America. A relative of frankincense and myrrh, Palo Santo has a sweet scent with hints of vanilla, mint, and citrus. Its name translates to "Holy Wood" in Spanish, and has been used by saints and shamans alike for centuries.
When burned, Palo Santo releases a fragrant smoke which many believe to uplift energy and aid in spiritual purification. It can also help drive away mosquitoes and other insects.

Caution: The brass and aluminum burners will become hot when the charcoal is burning. Do not pick up the burner until the charcoal has fully extinguished and cooled. To prevent damage to your furniture, place the burner on the wooden coaster provided. Do not leave burning incense unattended. The stone burner can become hot as well, we recommend using the sand inside to hold the charcoal and resin.
